Nothing is added to these - not the distance, not the hour, not the Haryana border. What this page used to print instead.

Schedule of addresses

Fourteen in Delhi and one in Haryana. Each page carries what that address really does to a booking.

The whole schedule of addresses

Execution

(1) Ring, or type itYour whereabouts, the hour, the length of it, and whether a room is held. In Delhi, say the sector or the block rather than the area - it is the whole difference.
(2) Give her nameSomebody will tell you who is close by and free. Say which woman you have read about, and she is who comes.
(3) The clock starts when she reaches youNot when the telephone rang. Should the evening look like overrunning, that is said while the hour is not yet up.
  • (1) One number, and it is the real oneUntil this month the header of this site carried a placeholder of eight digits on thirty-seven pages - not a telephone number at all - and the contact block printed the real one a digit short. There is now one number and it dials.
  • (2) Fifteen addresses, each with its own problemChandni Chowk has almost nowhere that takes a guest. Rohini is as far from Saket as Gurgaon is. Gurgaon is in another state. Each page says so instead of reading like the other fourteen.
  • (3) Three rates, nothing listed underneath themTwo hours ₹3,000, six hours ₹8,000, the night ₹15,000. The page that used to be here printed a column of acts under each figure. The reason it does not any more is on the schedules page.
  • (4) Twenty women, and twenty is the numberEach with her own page, the part of Delhi she really lives in, and the true count of her own photographs - which for most of them is one.

Queries

Who travels, her or me?

She does, always. No building stands behind this site and there is nowhere in Delhi to be sent. The room is yours to arrange and nothing is taken from it.

What does two hours cost?

Three thousand. Eight for six hours, fifteen for the night. Three figures, and the list ends there.

Is Gurgaon extra?

No. Gurgaon is in Haryana and there is a toll between, but the figure is the same as it is in Connaught Place. The border costs time, not money.

Why do some women have only one photograph?

Because that is how many there are of her. Every page prints the true count. Rounding a page up with somebody else’s picture is the one thing this site was rebuilt to stop doing.

Do you have Russian girls?

No. Delhi is the one Indian city where that claim is sometimes true of somebody, which is why that page explains the difference at length rather than simply saying no.

Why does nothing here say what she will do?

Because no website is able to consent for her. What an evening holds gets worked out between the two adults who are in the room.

Delhi, in writing

Delhi is four or five cities wearing one name, and any site that pretends otherwise is no use at a quarter to nine on a Friday. The airport hotels are their own world. The old city shuts at nine and has almost nowhere to stay. South Delhi runs on the yellow line. West Delhi is an hour from south Delhi at the wrong hour and twenty minutes at the right one. Gurgaon is in Haryana with a toll plaza in between.

So the twenty women here are each put at one address out of fifteen rather than thrown in together, and every page carries the thing that address actually does to a booking: the block number you have to give in Janakpuri, the sector in Rohini, the phase in Mayur Vihar, the bridges over the Yamuna, the stairs in Paharganj, the hotels in Chandni Chowk that will not take you.

The rate is three figures: ₹3,000 for two hours, ₹8,000 for six, ₹15,000 for the whole night. Neither the kilometres, the clock nor the state line moves them. One man to a booking, and no camera is produced. Each woman entered here is past eighteen and works because she chose it - and no page here sets out in advance what she has consented to, since that is her sentence to speak and not a website’s.
