Gurgaon, now officially Gurugram, sits just across the Delhi border in Haryana. It is a hotel belt and a flats belt at once: business travellers stay near Cyber City and Udyog Vihar on NH-48, while the towers on Golf Course Road are homes. Late at night a girl from the airport side reaches DLF Phase 3 in about twenty minutes.
Most of our Gurgaon hotel calls come from a small patch just past the border. Cyber City and Cyber Hub hold the office towers and the restaurants, Udyog Vihar sits across NH-48 from them, and the big hotels line the highway: The Leela next to Ambience Mall, and the Trident and The Oberoi in Udyog Vihar. A second group of business hotels sits around Sector 29 near Leisure Valley, close to the bars there. Weekday guests are mostly men in town for work for two or three nights.
The Yellow Line comes in from Delhi through Guru Dronacharya, Sikanderpur, MG Road and IFFCO Chowk, and ends at Millennium City Centre. At Sikanderpur the Rapid Metro loops through Cyber City and down Golf Course Road. By road, our girls who stay on the airport side are about ten kilometres from Cyber City. That is twenty minutes late at night, but forty to fifty in evening traffic, when NH-48 backs up at the border. We give you the time for the hour you are calling.
South of Cyber City, Golf Course Road and its extension are lined with high-rise societies, and entry there is stricter than in most of Delhi. The guard calls your flat, writes down the visitor's name and sometimes asks for a phone number, so tell the gate in advance or come down and walk her in. Sohna Road and the newer sectors past it are further out, so add twenty to thirty minutes to any time we quote for Cyber City.
The big hotels on NH-48 keep security at the door and at the lift, so she arrives as your guest and you meet her in the lobby. Calls peak between 9 PM and 1 AM on weekdays, after office dinners, and later on weekends when Cyber Hub stays open. See the rates on our price page. If you are at an airport hotel on the Delhi side instead, our Aerocity page covers that belt, and Mahipalpur covers the budget rooms next to it.
