Rohini is a large planned part of north-west Delhi, split into numbered sectors that run from Sector 1 up past Sector 30. It is almost all flats and family homes, with only a few hotels around the District Centre in Sector 10. Our girls reach most of Rohini in forty-five minutes to an hour, and quicker late at night.
Rohini was laid out by the DDA as a long run of numbered sectors, and each one is mostly DDA flats, group housing societies and plotted houses. An address here is a sector, a pocket and a house number, so give us all three when you call. Two houses with the same number can sit in different pockets of the same sector, and a driver with half the address can lose a quarter of an hour. The Outer Ring Road runs along the south edge, and the sectors spread north towards Rithala and Bawana.
The Red Line runs through the middle, with stations at Rohini East, Rohini West and Rithala, and the Yellow Line touches the eastern sectors at Rohini Sector 18-19. Sector 10 is the busy centre, with Adventure Island and the Metro Walk mall beside Rithala station, so it makes an easy meeting point if your pocket is hard to find. The older sectors near the Outer Ring Road, like 3, 7 and 8, are quicker to reach than the newer ones beyond Rithala, which can add fifteen minutes.
Rohini is far from where most of our girls stay, and we would rather say so than promise a time we cannot keep. From the Naraina side a car takes about an hour in the evening, up the Ring Road past Punjabi Bagh and onto the Outer Ring Road, and around forty minutes after 11 PM. Call an hour before you want her there and the timing will hold. Same hour bookings are possible late at night, but not in evening traffic.
Most Rohini bookings go to a flat or a society apartment. Societies here keep a gate register, and some ring your flat before letting a visitor in, so tell the guard to expect a guest. For a hotel, the Crowne Plaza at the Sector 10 District Centre and the business hotels around Netaji Subhash Place in Pitampura are the usual picks.
